Columbia, MO; December 6, 2021 This holiday season, Troublesome will partner with the WE Project and Rock the Community on a Christmas Holiday Toy Drive and winter clothing.  We will be accepting donations Saturday, December 18th at Parkade Plaza in Columbia, MO. There will also be a Grinch for photos with the kids from 12 to 2pm. Due to Covid-19, those who wish to stay in their car can follow the drive thru instructions to remain in their vehicle and open trunk for distribution will be on the east side of the building next to IMO’s. Drop off new and gently used toys that will uplift our community and bring smiles and joy to children. Columbia, MO; November 17, 2021 Troublesome will partner with the WE Project and Rock the Community on a Thanksgiving Food Drive and winter clothing this month to collect perishable goods and donations, helping provide Thanksgiving meals for those in need throughout the community this year. From 10am to 2 p.m., Nov. 20th at Parkade Plaza located near the Business Loop 70 west, thanksgiving food and winter clothing will be available to be picked up and dropped for families in need. Due to Covid, those families needing to pick up food will be able to stay in their cars. Requested items include instant mashed potatoes, instant gravy, canned cranberry sauce, canned green beans, canned mushroom soup, dried fried onions, boxed stuffing mix, disposable roasting pans and other non-perishable food items. Event Recap – Dress for Success Clothing Drive

As businesses closed due to COVID-19, more and more Missourians lost their jobs, causing Boone County nonprofits to experience an increase in demand for services and resources. To support our partners and community members in need, we hosted a clothing donation collection site at Douglass Park in Columbia, Missouri with support from Mizzou Black Law Student Association (BLSA)and Mizzou Student Bar Association (SBA). This allowed residents to comply with the stay-at-home order while still supporting the community. These generous volunteers then delivered these donations to nonprofit partners and churches across the county, including Love Columbia, and more. Throughout the month of February volunteers collected their new or gently used  professional clothing and accessories that they no longer needed to donate. Troublesome Movement, in conjunction with the WE Project and the University of Missouri’s Legion of Black Collegiates, hosted Thanksgiving food drives on Saturday, Nov. 21 at Speakers Circle on the MU campus and on Monday, Nov. 23 at Douglass Park.  Community members were asked to donate non-perishable foods ranging from instant mashed potatoes and canned green beans to cream of mushroom soup and yams. This year, the food drive saw an increase in the number of online donations via the organization’s website.  It’s also the first time that Graves and the Troublesome Movement have held a food drive in Columbia, as the group originally worked in areas like Portland and Troutdale, Oregon.   Tuesday, April 25, 2017 – Reynolds Alumni Center, University of Missouri – For the sixth year in a row, the Division of Student Affairs recognized members of the MU faculty who are working to elevate diversity and inclusion at Mizzou.  The MU Faculty Achievement Award in Diversity was established by Steven A. Richardson and Sally Alberty Richardson to recognize MU Faculty who are working to elevate diversity and inclusion on the Columbia campus. Faculty members are nominated by a student group consisting of eight student leaders from the following groups: two from Four Front, two from The Legion of Black collegians and four to be appointed by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs based on their leadership roles and representation of the current student body.
